Each of us had experienced the transformative power of travel during our own student years, and we wanted to create a company that would make these experiences accessible to students worldwide.

New Zealand, with its awe-inspiring natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and welcoming communities, was the perfect setting for our vision. With over a decade of experience exploring every corner of New Zealand, Ben Abele is more than just a tour lead—he’s a walking encyclopedia of New Zealand’s landscapes, culture, and history. Ben’s deep love for the country, combined with his extensive knowledge and engaging storytelling, makes every tour an unforgettable experience. Whether navigating the rugged trails of the Southern Alps or sharing the rich traditions of the Māori, Ben’s passion and expertise shine through, ensuring that every student gains a deeper understanding and appreciation of New Zealand.

Mitch Robinson is the organizational powerhouse behind The Student Tours, ensuring that every detail of our adventures runs smoothly. With a keen eye for logistics and a deep understanding of what makes a tour truly exceptional, Mitch works tirelessly behind the scenes to craft seamless and memorable experiences for our students. His dedication to planning and coordination means that everything, from accommodations to activities, is perfectly arranged, allowing our tour leads to focus on what they do best—showcasing the beauty of New Zealand.

Anna Kempkers

A passionate high school teacher with a traveller’s heart, Anna brings 8 years of experience in the education sector to the team. Having worked in both Colombian and New Zealand high schools teaching English and Spanish, Anna thrives while organizing unforgettable educational experiences outside the classroom. As someone who has worked with young people for almost a decade, she knows what it takes to create fun, safe, and nurturing environments for students. She is excited to share this wonderful country with young people from around the world!
